All too often I see children hesitate to do something incase they make a mistake. The pressure on children to succeed is huge and from such a young age too. I think we forget to tell them that on the path to success, we fall many, many times. We only succeed when we have the courage to keep getting back up and the faith to know we will get there in the end. I think we often need that reminder for ourselves too. So I think I’ll be purchasing these books for my risk-averse daughter, to read to her in the future and remind us both that people we view as success stories, worked hard, failed often and even had to ‘wing’ it at times too.

A great review of some good books that are on my reading list.
