I love pancakes and crepes. I have fond memories from my childhood of my dad being sent out to our lemon tree, to bring in fresh lemons for the crepes my mum had cooked for breakfast. Pancakes were the first thing I cooked with my daughter. I think she was about 14 months. By 18 months my daughter could recite Jamie Oliver’s simple recipe off by heart – one egg, one cup of self-raising flour, one cup of milk. Now my daughter is older, and now has the patience to make slightly more involved recipes, we’ve branched out into more adventurous recipes which require more than three ingredients! This is our new favourite pancake recipe.

Wow. They sound delicious. I’ve never made pancakes with cream and yoghurt before. I know the kids would love these. I will have to give them a try.

They’d probably be ‘healthier’ without the cream… but nowhere near as yummy! I hope the kids like them as much as mine do!

I’m hoping we can get to the stage where I can sit back and the kids will do the cooking… ahhh, I can dream…

Oh yum! We made blueberry pancakes on the weekend, and it was quite a novelty biting into them, and having them squirt juice everywhere 🙂

That does sound fun! My son loves blueberries. I think he’d eat a punnet a day if I’d let him. I will have to try blueberries next time (strawberries are my favourite and since I cook, we usually have strawberries in the pancakes LOL).

I love pancakes and so do my girls but I don’t make them often enough. I wonder if they would like these strawberry ones. I will have to give them a go. Thanks for the recipe. 🙂

I like this recipe as it’s pretty difficult to stuff up, hence why it’s a good recipe for my daughter to ‘help’ with. These probably get made a little more than they should in our house! Probably why I’m still not back into my pre-pregnancy clothes!

Yum yum and yum! I make sweet potato pancakes, (unbeknown to the children) and they love them! Hubby and I like blueberry ones, but we just picked 2 kg of strawberries.. so if there is any left we can throw them in some pancakes! #teamIBOT
